Où ça parlera de voyages, de bouffe, de mon chat, de musique, de trucs de geeks... Ça montrera plus que ça ne parlera d'ailleurs.

Speak Low (Sonny’s Crib, 1957)
This is hard bop at its best and a definite crowd-pleaser. It’s great to hear Coltrane before he went off the Richter scale. You get a sense of how individual his sound already is here, but it’s not on a level with his early 60s work, when his approach advanced beyond everyone’s reach. And as usual, hearing Sonny Clark tugs the heart strings, because his life was so short and yet his contributions to jazz in this era were so great.
